  2007 Nangkita Sauvignon Blanc  top)

This wine is handmade from estate grown Sauvignon Blanc from the cool climate southern end of the Mt Lofty ranges.

The grapes were gently pressed in our basket press to extract the most delicate juice and then fermented cool with fine solids to create a distinctive wine of character.

The wine is light straw in colour with a green tinge.

The aromas show lifted tropical fruits and characters of spicy cloves & ginger with hints of asparagus.

The palate has a rich syrupy entry with a soft creamy texture and flavours of melon and gooseberry.  This is a full rich and complex wine with length and a crisp acid finish.

Drink now to 2009.  Sold Out - Yes the 2008 is out now!

A distinctive wine for a great price.  Recommended Retail is $15 per bottle.

  2007 Madeleine's Viognier

 top)

This great vintage of Viognier continues to receive accolades.  We hand pruned the vines and hand picked the grapes just as they began to shrivel and concentrate the flavours in mid March.

The wine is straw in colour with a green tint.

The aromas show intense lifted fruit aromas of honeysuckle, apricot and spicy ginger.  The nose is complex with balanced wild yeast characters of cloves and spice.

The palate has a thick syrupy entry of full complex ginger apricot flavours, a creamy round and juicy palate with a hint of minerality.   Natural yeast fermentation has contributed complexity and a generous textural palate.

The best feature of our Viognier is the universal appeal of the soft & creamy full palate weight.

Drink now to 2009.  An exceptional wine for a great price.  Recommended Retail is $19 per bottle.

2007 GTS GewurzTraminer - Sauvignon blanc

 top)

This is a lifted and spicy aromatic white with rose petals on the nose and juicy slightly sweet palate to go with cuisine - seafood, anything with a bit of chilli, oriental spice or pepper.

This was a tiny little blend for us to drink ourselves but we have a few cases available for anyone looking for something different.

Recommended Retail is $15 per bottle.

  2004 BULLSEYE Shiraz

'Bargain  This boisterous, blackberry-fruity shiraz is stunning value.  You may not have heard of Vincognita yet – but with wine as good as this, and plenty of awards to boot – you’ll soon be hearing a lot more.  Drink with steak, of course.” Max Allen, Gourmet Traveller  May 2008

'Medium bodied, but has quite intense black fruits, with notes of spice and dark chocolate; persistent but ripe tannins on a long finish.

Rating 90 points James Halliday Wine Companion 2009.

'Attractive medium bodied palate with a distinctive silky texture to the black cherry and plum fruit; good oak and tannin management in a flavoursome but elegant wine. Value.'
